These films were created during my time as a Media Arts student at NJCU. Some things I can't seem to get over are: doors, the faceless and that feeling of going down a spiraling rabbit hole.
to die dreaming
Final project for my Avant Garde Film Class. It was inspired by Maya Deren and her films "Meshes of the Afternoon" and "A Study in Choreography For Camera". I wanted to play with continuation of scenes and flipping through different locations with match cuts and water sounds. The themes running through my mind were those of identity, memories and childhood. It was all shot on my iPhone 12 and edited on Davinci Resolve and After Effects. The soundtrack was also made by me using Garage Band and ProTools.
I created this film for my Video Field Production class with the help of my little cousin, Arianna. Shot on location in her apartment building due to its abundance of endless hallways and numerous doors! Shot on Canon EOS 40D and edited on Davince Resolve. Soundtrack created by me on Garage Band.
I Dream in Dali
Short little animated film for my Digital Media II class. We had to pick an artist and revolve all ideas around their works of art. I added my signature touch in this Dali world with my hooded figures and my "Desert Room". All images were created on Photoshop by me and animated on After Effects.
